My effort to be eco friendly ♻️ 💓

My effort to be eco friendly ♻️ 💓

In every aspect of my life, I have always been conscience about my impact on the environment. When I started this business, I knew I wanted it to be as little waste possible.
Some of the things I do to ensure this are :

Reusing Packaging that would otherwise go to waste.

Making my own earring cards, with card that I actually got from the op shop! By doing this, I am able to control exactly how much waste is produced ( not much , you’ll see what I do with it next pic )

I make my own paper! It is made from leftover paper from making earring cards as well as all the paper I have leftover from other craft projects.
I use this handmade paper to write thank you cards and to journal with.

I use silicone mixing cups to add glitter and pigments to my resin , this way once dried they can be reused over and over again.

I also use silicone mixing sticks instead of paddle pop sticks. These can be reused over and over again.
Whenever I do projects , I pour the extra resin into moulds. This cup holder has been in the makes for months now, collecting all the leftover resin. It turned out so cute!

As said above, leftover resin is poured into other moulds. I often made studs, which always turns out cute ✨

For my shipping , I use HeroPack mailers and their thermal printer. Both of which is much better for the environment than alternatives. Check out their page on Insta ( @hero.packaging ) if you want more info. (Not sponsored, I just love their products)

If you have come this far, thank you for reading ! I hope you got something out of this post, whether it be learning something new or learning about my process to be more eco-friendly. ♻️💓✨🌈
